Tables include information on major risk factors for developing pressure ulcers, pressure ulcer classification, and preventive measures. This Guideline supports a cooperative interdisciplinary approach to preventing and managing wounds and offers information to help practitioners balance treatment efficacy and cost. Also discussed is the case of unavoidability in certain cases.
